FOLLOWING THE LINES

FOLLOWING THE LINES

Why Some Places Feel Like Home

There are places we visit.

And then there are places that seem to recognize us before we recognize ourselves.

For me, Ibiza was one of those places.

From the moment I arrived, there was a quiet sense of familiarity that I couldn't explain. It wasn't just the Mediterranean light, the scent of the pine trees, or the slower rhythm of life. It felt as though I had arrived somewhere I had always known.

At the time, I had never looked at my astrocartography map.

It was only later, out of curiosity, that I unfolded it.

There it was.

My Ascendant Jupiter line and my Ascendant Moon line run through Ibiza.

When Astrology Gives Meaning to a Feeling

In astrocartography, the Ascendant reflects how we experience life and grow into ourselves.

Jupiter is associated with expansion, opportunity and trust.

The Moon speaks to belonging, emotional connection and the feeling of home.

Together, these lines describe places where we may feel both supported to grow and deeply connected to ourselves.

Did astrology tell me to move to Ibiza?

No.

The decision was already mine.

But seeing those lines on my map gave language to something I had already felt.

Looking Back

Then I noticed something even more interesting.

Some of the places that have shaped my life most profoundly—including Sweden, Amsterdam and now Ibiza—are all connected to these same lines.

Different countries.

Different chapters.

Yet each invited a different version of me to emerge.

Sweden taught me independence.

Amsterdam and the Netherlands became the place where I truly stepped into adulthood, built my career, created my family and eventually gave life to the idea behind More Than Your Sun.

Ibiza has become the place where that idea could finally expand—where work feels more aligned with who I am and where life feels softer, slower and deeply familiar.

More Than a Map

This is why I love astrocartography.

Not because it tells us where we should live.

But because it helps us understand why certain places awaken something within us that others never do.

I don't believe our maps dictate our destiny.

I believe they offer another way of understanding the stories we are already living.

Perhaps that's why some places feel like home before we have any reason to call them home.

And perhaps the places that transform us aren't chosen by chance, but by the version of ourselves waiting to be discovered.
